President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic.

Axar.az reports that “on behalf of the Azerbaijani people and on my own, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to you and the people of Serbia on the occasion of your country’s national holiday,” the Azerbaijani president said in his letter.

President Aliyev expressed confidence that the development and enhancement of relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Serbia will continue to serve the interests of the two countries’ peoples.

“On this remarkable day, I wish you robust health, success in your activities and the friendly people of Serbia peace and prosperity,” the Azerbaijani president said.
