Armenian armed units violate ceasefire

Armenian armed units violated ceasefire using 60 mm mortars, grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns with Azerbaijan 110 times on various parts of the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenia troops over the past 24 hours, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on April 15.

Armenian armed units stationed in villages Paravakar, Berkaber and nameless uplands of Armenia’s Ijevan district, Chinari, Mosesgekh and Aygepar villages of Berd district fired on the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces in Kohnagishlag village of Azerbaijan’s Agstafa district, Gizilhajili village and on nameless uplands of Gazakh district, Agbulaq, Alibayli villages and nameless uplands of Tovuz district.

Moreover, Azerbaijani positions located on nameless uplands of Gadabay district came under fire from Armenian positions located on nameless uplands of Krasnoselsk district.

Another ceasefire violation came from the positions located in Chilaburt, Yarimcha villages of Terter district, Shikhlar, Bash Karvand, Javahirli, Sarijali, Kangarli, Novruzlu, Namirli, Yusifjanli, Marzili villages of Aghdam district, Kuropatkino of Khojavend district, Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, Gorgan, Ashaghi Seyidahmadli of Fizulu district, Mehdili of Jabrayil district, as well as on nameless uplands in Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavend, Fizuli and Jabrayil districts.

In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces inflicted 118 strikes on enemy positions.
