Armenian armed units violated ceasefire

Armenian armed units violated ceasefire using large-caliber machine guns with Azerbaijan 120 times on various parts of the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenia troops over the past 24 hours, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on April 21.

Armenian armed units stationed on nameless uplands of Armenia’s Ijevan district, in village Dovekh of Noyemberyan district, Chinari, Aygepar villages of Berd district fired on the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces on nameless heights and in Kamarli village of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district, Agbulaq district and nameless heights of Tovuz district.

Moreover, Azerbaijani positions located on nameless uplands of Gadabay district came under fire from Armenian positions located on nameless uplands of Krasnoselsk district.

Another ceasefire violation came from the positions located in Chilaburt, Yarimcha villages of Terter district, Shikhlar, Javahirli, Sarijali, Kangarli, Novruzlu, Marzili, Shuraabad, Garagashli,Yusifjanli, Namirli villages of Aghdam district, Kuropatkino of Khojavend district,Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, Gorgan, Ashaghi Seyidahmadli of Fizulu district, Mehdili of Jabrayil district, as well as on nameless uplands in Goranboy, Khojavend, Fizuli and Jabrayil districts.

In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces inflicted 126 strikes on enemy positions.
