Cavusoglu to hold a meeting at NATO

Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will attend a NATO meeting in Brussels next week, a statement released by the foreign ministry said on Friday.

According to the statement, Cavusoglu will attend the NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting on December 6-7 and hold bilateral talks with his counterparts from NATO members and partner countries.

"NATO Foreign Ministers, on this occasion, will discuss NATO's efforts for projecting stability in a geography ranging from the Balkans to the Middle East, and the related challenges in this regard" the statement said.

The meeting will also be attended by High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, as well as Foreign Ministers of Sweden and Finland.

The situation in Ukraine and the country's relations with NATO will be discussed in the meeting.
