Diplomats discuss preparations for Putin’s visit to Japan

Moscow and Tokyo are actively paving the way for Putin’s visit to Japan, which, according to Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov, will take place on December 15-16.

Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov and Japanese Ambassador to Russia Toyohisa Kozuki discussed on Tuesday preparations for Russian President’s visit to Japan, the Russian Foreign Ministry reports.

It said the diplomats "discussed issues of preparations for an upcoming visit by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, due in December".

At the present, Moscow and Tokyo are actively paving the way for Putin’s visit to Japan, which, according to Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov, will take place on December 15-16.
