Cyprus wants relations with Azerbaijan to become better

Foreign Minister of Cyprus Ioannis Kasoulides said, Cyprus wants bilateral relations with Azerbaijan to become ‘normal’ on Tuesday.

Axar.az informs, “There is a standoff between Cyprus and Azerbaijan, which is not caused by us. We favor normalization of relations with Azerbaijan,” Kasoulides said.

“Probably, the main issue here is the influence of Turkey. The recognition of the territorial integrity of a country is a principle for everyone,” added the FM.
