Nazarbayev told how Russia "ruined" Kazakhstan

Earlier Kazakhstan was not possible to develop because the country was a colony of the Federation, said the Kazakh leader.

The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, said that during the tsarist Russia the country had been emptied of all wealth, but gaining independence, the country has changed, according to News.

According to him, earlier in Kazakhstan was not possible to develop because the country was a colony of Russia.
"In times of tsarist Russia all the wealth of earth were taken out, and we just left the dug the ground and forced to swallow the dust. We even have roads in the country were not. And now I saw some railroad launched? And before such was not, because we were a colony", – said Nazarbayev.

He noted that Kazakhstanis should thank the earth for the fact that we have such riches as oil, gas, gold and silver.
