France emphazises importance of solving Karabakh conflict

France support substantive talks on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict as well as the implementation of confidence building measures, French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said.

The FM made the remarks during the 23rd OSCE Ministerial Council in Hamburg Dec. 8, according to the OSCE website.

France, as co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, remains committed to a peaceful and lasting solution to the conflict, Ayrault noted.
