US president Donald Trump arrived in France on Thursday morning at the Orly airport south of Paris on the start of a two-day visit, a Reuters reporter said.
Mr Trump is in France to take part in Bastille Day celebrations and commemorations of the entry 100 years ago of US troops into the first World War.
Mr Trump is due to meet the French president Emmanuel Macron in Paris, where the French leader will escort him to Napoleon’s tomb, take him to dinner at the Eiffel Tower and watch the Bastille Day military parade on the Champs Elysees.
