U.S. President Donald Trump in a tweet on Tuesday, July 25, has accused Ukraine of sabotaging his election campaign in favor of Hillary Clinton.

"Ukrainian efforts to sabotage Trump campaign - 'quietly working to boost Clinton.' So where is the investigation A.G." Trump tweeted Tuesday. According to the U.S. President, Ukraine's alleged efforts to sabotage his campaign were aimed at promoting Hillary Clinton.

He expressed surprise at the fact that the Attorney General had not launched a probe into the alleged collusion between DNC and Ukraine. As UNIAN reported earlier, the Washington Post in its latest fact checking piece debunked allegations that Hillary Clinton campaign’s contacts with Ukraine could be considered similar to those between Donald Trump team and Russia. The publication cited three fundamental differences in the nature of the two cases in question.
