Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia has sent a congratulatory letter to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on his birthday.

Axar.az reports that in his letter Patriarch Kirill noted that President Ilham Aliyev is an exemplary leader who has contributed greatly to the development of inter-ethnic and inter-religious relations in the Caucasus region for many years.

The Patriarch wished Azerbaijan’s head of state robust health and lots of success in his presidency.

President Ilham Aliyev has also received birthday congratulations from President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nurgaliyevich Minnikhanov, President of the ARETI International Group of Companies Igor Makarov and Merited Artist of Russia, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Nikas Safronov.
