Today there is an agreement about the meeting of the Presidents of Russia and the United States Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump at the G20 summit in Argentina, both capitals confirm this in public, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

Axar.az reports citing RIA Novosti.

"Such an agreement (on Putin-Trump meeting in Argentine) does exist. I do not have any other information, Moscow and Washington have confirmed this in public," Lavrov told reporters.

Lavrov's comment came as he was answering the question whether it is possible to say for sure that the Russian and US leaders will meet on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Argentine.

He said everything related to that meeting had already been announced by the presidential administrations of both countries.

Notably, the G20 summit will be held in Buenos Aires on November 30-December 1.
