Axar.az reports citing PageSix that“Normally I would not comment on something as egregiously misstated as today’s story,” Baldwin tweeted from the account for his family foundation. “However, the assertion that I punched anyone over a parking spot is false.”
Cops say the 60-year-old actor sucker-punched a driver for sliding into a spot a Baldwin relative was holding at around 1:30 p.m. Friday. The 49-year-old victim was hospitalized, but escaped serious injury.
The Bloviator was released from custody at around 4 p.m. with a desk appearance ticket for assault and harassment charges.
In a second tweet Baldwin gripped about what he said were “defaming allegations.”
“I realize that it has become a sport to tag people w as many negative… charges and defaming allegations as possible for the purposes of clickbait entertainment,” he wrote.
“Fortunately, no matter how reverberating the echos, it doesn’t make the statements true.
