The strong wind made it difficult to extinguish a fire in a high-altitude forest zone with a complex relief of the forestry of the Bum of the Gabala enterprise.

Axar.az reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (MENR).

More than 200 workers of the MENR, fire brigades and equipment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were involved in the scene.

The press service noted that all possible means are being taken to extinguish the fire: "Despite the presence of earthy mineral strips of obstacles, a strong wind expands the area of fire, throwing fire behind these obstacles."

The ministry also noted that it was possible to localize another fire in the Khachmaz forestry.

According to preliminary data, during the fire, a shrub and several trees were burnt.
