Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made their first appearance as a married couple with a garden party at Buckingham Palace just days after their Windsor wedding. informs citing

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have arrived in the gardens of the palace in London with the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall for Prince Charles’ 70th birthday celebration. They are attending an event to celebrate Charles’ charitable work and association with military regiments and units. Harry and Meghan’s wedding at St George’s Chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle on Saturday as hailed as reflecting the diversity of the UK.

Instead of jetting off on honeymoon, the new royal couple are throwing themselves into work – and already have a number of official events planned for the summer. Harry and Meghan Markle are among a host of royals attending the garden party to mark Prince Charles’ 70th birthday. His actual birthday is not until 14 November, but the garden party is being held today by Charles and Camilla, to honour the work of The Prince Of Wales’ charities. They wanted it to be a garden party – and felt it wouldn’t have been a great time to hold it in November. With there being a number of big events to celebrate this year, the decision was made to stagger out the events and host the party now.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall are attending the event on the anniversary of the Manchester Arena bombing. They will be meeting members of the emergency services who were on the scene on the night of the attack who have been invited. Meghan is wearing a dusty pink dress from Goat, a British designer that the Duchess of Cambridge has been spotted wearing before. The dress is officially priced at £590, but Meghan’s had been personally tailored to fit the Duchess. The firm’s website reportedly crashed shortly after the photos of the Duchess emerged.
