TANAP opening is historical step for regional countries

The opening of the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) is a historical step for regional countries, said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“Today we have taken a historical step for regional countries,” Erdogan said addressing the opening ceremony of TANAP in Turkey’s Eskisehir city June 12, Axar.az reports.

Erdogan congratulated those who contributed to an early implementation of the enormous TANAP project.

“The realization of this project became possible thanks to Turkey-Azerbaijan relations that are based on mutual trust,” he emphasized.
