Martyred Azerbaijani serviceman laid to rest

Azerbaijani army serviceman, warrant officer Seymur Bakhishov, who heroically died while preventing Armenia’s military provocation in early April, has been laid to rest in the Alley of Martyrs in the city of Sumgayit.

The funeral was attended by officials from the Defense Ministry, the Sumgayit city executive authority, the State Service on Mobilization and Conscription as well as representatives of the public.

The serviceman’s body was taken from the contact line of troops on April 19
