Meteorologists warn of hot weather in Azerbaijan

The temperature in Baku and the Absheron peninsula will be 35…40 C on July 11-12, the National Hydrometeorology Department of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told Axar.az.

"Due to the anticipated hot weather, long exposure to direct sunlight from 11:00 to 17:00 is risky. We recommend that residents use whatever means they can to protect themselves from sunlight,” the National Hydrometeorology Department warned.

From July 11 to July 13, the weather in Azerbaijan’s districts will be abnormally hot, with the temperature reaching 35…40 C. In the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and in some areas of Azerbaijan’s lowland region, the temperature will reach 41…43 C, while the temperature in mountains will be 28…33 C.
