The 13th Pomegranate Festival has started in Goychay region.

Axar.az reports citing that the festival is organized jointly by the Ministry of Culture and the Executive Power of Goychay region.

State and government representatives, MPs of Milli Majlis, ambassadors of foreign countries in Azerbaijan, local and foreign businessmen and employees of international organizations are also attending the pomegranate festival.

An exhibition-fair of pomegranate products will be demonstrated at the festival. The musical collective of the district culture house, singing and dance groups, rope-dancers and athletes will perform at the event. Various competitions and games will be played during the event. Guests will taste pomegranate juice, pomegranate wine and other products prepared from pomegranate, as well as he largest pomegranate will be displayed.

On November 4, Heydar Aliyev Park will host fairs of pomegranate and pomegranate products, concerts with participation of local musicians and various hand-made artworks.

Notably, various tourism companies organize tours from Baku to Goychay on 3-4 November with affordable prices.
