Real Madrid are reportedly in the market for a marquee signing and have set their sights on Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe.
The 18-year-old was a key player for the Ligue 1 champions last term and has attracted attention from a host of Europe’s top clubs this summer.
Real have already seen two offers in excess of £100million rejected by Monaco earlier in the transfer window.
And if they fail to reach an agreement for the France international they will reportedly turn their attention to Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.
S panish outlet Don Balon claim the Belgium international is the ‘plan b’ signing for Zinedine Zidane.
However, the Real boss will reportedly have a fight on his hands trying to convince club president Florentino Perez to sign Hazard.
Perez is said to be keen to protect Isco and Marco Asensio’s positions in the squad and does not want to sign the 26-year-old.
But the report says Hazard is desperate to sign for the La Liga champions and will push for a move away from Chelsea, potentially decreasing his transfer fee.
The Belgian has been linked with a move to the Bernabeu since last summer and Zidane has made no attempt to hide his admiration for the former Lille man.
“There are rumours about tons of players potentially linked with this club,” Zidane said last season.
"He is a very, very good player. Obviously all clubs want the best players but he is a Chelsea player."
Hazard’s current deal with Chelsea runs until June 2020 but he has not signed an extension since February 2015.
