Zlatan starred for the Red Devils last season. The Swede scored over 20 goals for United as Jose Mourinho won the League Cup and Europa League in his first season at Old Trafford.
Ibra’s 2016-17 campaign was cut short after he suffered ligament damage against Anderlecht.
He’s been sidelined ever since, although Zlatan seems to be defying the odds with regards to his comeback timetable.
The Swedish star is already back in training at Man United, while there are hopes he could return before the end of November.
On Tuesday, Ibrahimovic threatened to punch Eric Bailly in the Man United locker room.
The Swede posted an eye-catching picture of social media alongside Bailly and David De Gea.
With Bailly sat in the middle, and with Zlatan drawing a fist, Ibra added the captain: “Now he cant run away.”
But don’t be distracted by Zlatan.
Look at Bailly’s little finger!
Bailly has also been on the sidelines for Man United in recent weeks with an injury. The Ivory Coast centre-half will miss Tuesday’s League Cup tie at Swansea, but he’s in line to return against Tottenham next weekend.
That said, the Red Devils are still currently nursing a host of injured stars.
Paul Pogba, Marouane Fellaini, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marcos Rojo and Michael Carrick remain on the sidelines for Man United.
Last weekend, Zlatan’s agent Mino Raiola gave an excellent interview with Swedish paper Expressen.
Raiola believes that Zlatan, who is 36, is far from retirement.
Unbelievably, the super-agent believes Ibra can carry on playing for many years to come:
He has so much in him. I think minimum another five or six years. I won’t let him stop He has to work for me now. I have been working for him for several years. Now it’s my turn. My children are grown up and I need money.
We have agreed that he is only working for me for five years now. So we’ve flipping it now. The salary comes to me and he gets the commission.
