Messi learns one star has turned against Zinedine Zidane

The Argentine has been told by Barcelona team-mate Ivan Rakitic that Real Madrid are beginning to implode after a series of shocking results.

Axar.az reports citing Daily Express.

Rakitic’s international ally Luka Modric is said to be unhappy at the Bernabeu as they sit fourth in the La Liga table.

Los Blancos are also out of the Copa del Rey and their only hope of silverware is the Champions League - but they face Neymar’s Paris Saint-Germain in the next round.

Manager Zinedine Zidane’s job is on the line if they fail to progress in the European tournament.

And Spanish outlet Diario Gol are reporting that some players have already turned against their boss.

They highlight that Modric is frustrated with the current formation that the French manager is choosing.

The midfielder is also annoyed with the lack of goals coming from Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, who have only six league strikes between them.

Diario Gol add that Modric has been messaging Croatia team-mate Rakitic about the problem.

And one of the messages apparently reads: “I cannot stand Zidane.”

If Real’s form does not pick up in the near future then there is a strong possibility that Modric will push for a transfer at the end of the season.

President Florentino Perez is already planning a summer shake-up and with the likes of Ronaldo and Benzema considered to be two players on their way out.
