Arsenal FC player injured ahead of Qarabag match

Arsenal FC, one of the rivals of Qarabag FC in the Europa League group stage, has faced the loss of player.

Axar.az informs citing the official website of the football club that Greek fullback Sokratis Papastathopoulos has suffered an injury in the VI tour of the Premier League match against Everton 2-0.

The 30-year-old player who had a knee injury was replaced in the 39th minute. After the medical examination, the duration of his absence will be known.

Notably, Qarabag will play its next match in Europa League against Arsenal on October 4. The match to be held at the Baku Olympic Stadium starts at 20:55 Baku time.
