Japanese athlete gratitude to Azerbaijan

“The 2016 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup in Baku was excellently organized,” gold medalist of the World Cup, Japanese gymnast Kenzo Shirai said in an interview with local media.

"I am pleased to win the gold medal in such a prestigious competition. The Baku World Cup has brought together strongest athletes. I have mobilized all my forces to win the competition on the floor exercise," he said.

Expressing gratitude to Azerbaijani people for the t hospitality, the Japanese athlete stressed that he was impressed by Baku.

The FIG World Challenge Cup in Artistic Gymnastics brought together 44 male and 22 female gymnasts.
