Hakan Fidan discusses Aleppo with Shoigu

Russian Defence Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu held a number of bilateral telephone talks with the heads of military departments of Syria and Iran, Fahd Jassem al-Freij and Hossein Dehghan, as well as with the Chief of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization Hakan Fidan.

During the negotiations, they exchanged their views on the situation in Aleppo, discussed the ways of normalization of the military and humanitarian situation as well as the specific steps aimed at creation of conditions needed for observation of the ceasefire on the territory of Syria.

The Head of the Russian military department General of the Army Sergei Shoigu expressed condolences to Hakan Fidan following the terrorist attack in the Turkish city of Kayseri.
