Shooting in Pakistan - 13 dead

At least 13 people were killed and more than 20 injured as a result of an exchange of fire between two armed groups in Shikarpur city in Pakistan's southeastern province of Sindh, local media reported on Tuesday.

Axar.az reports citing Sputnik news.

An eight-year-old girl and two women were among the dead, according to the Pakistani Geo TV broadcaster.

According to the broadcaster, the victims of the shooting will be buried in their native towns later in the day.

The clash occurred on Monday near a police station in Shikarpur due to a long-standing enmity and a land dispute between the two groups, which has already claimed six lives in the past five years, the broadcaster reported, citing police.
