The Lebanese army targeted a group of militants trying to flee toward Arsal town in northeastern Lebanon from nearby areas on Friday, a Lebanese security source and the National News Agency said. reports citing Reuters.

The Lebanese group Hezbollah and Syrian army earlier launched an offensive aiming to clear the militants from nearby areas of the mountainous border zone between Syria and Lebanon.
