Azerbaijani Ambassador met with Irish President

Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Great Britain Tahir Tagizade has presented his credentials to President of Ireland Michael Daniel Higgins.

The Ambassador conveyed greetings of President Ilham Aliyev to the Irish President. The diplomat expressed assurance that bilateral relations would further develop.

President Michael Daniel Higgins asked the Ambassador to communicate his best wishes to President Ilham Aliyev.

They exchanged views on development of bilateral bonds.

The Ambassador then presented a copy of his credentials to Chief of Protocol of Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Joe Brennan.

They exchanged views on relations between the two countries. The sides expressed hope that the economic cooperation would be expanded between Azerbaijan and Ireland.
