Indian forces kill two terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir

Two terror suspects were killed by Indian police officers in the course of an operation in the country's northern state of Jammu and Kashmir, local media reported.

Axar.az reports citing Sputnik.

Indian soldiers and police officers killed at least two terrorists in a Sunday operation, according to the reports.

The NDTV broadcaster reported citing a spokesman of the Indian Defense Ministry that the country's police and army received information about terrorists in the Tahab area of Jammu and Kashmir's district of Pulwama.

After receiving the information, the security forces launched a search operation and were attacked by the terrorists, the media outlet added.

The news outlet reported that both killed terrorists had already been identified.

India and Pakistan blame each other for the ceasefire violations in which civilians from both sides have been affected.
