Azerbaijan handed over 21 corpses to the Armenian side

Armenia retrieved 21 bodies of its military servicemen within 3 days.

Spokesperson of Karabakh separatists David Babayan told RIA-Novosti’s journalist about this.

According to him, on April 10, 19 corpses, on April 8, 2 corpses were handed over.

Note that, in accordance with the earlier achieved agreement, and by the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross of the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides and the field assistants of the Personal Representative to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Chairman-in-Office, search for casualties was conducted on the line of contact between the Armed Forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

However, Defense Ministry of Armenia announced on April 8 that they have handed over 5 bodies of Armenian servicemen.

Ceasefire was violated by Armenia during the exchange process of soldiers’ corpses.
