German FM states about need to hold serious talks

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier has stated about the necessity to hold serious talks for solving the Karabakh conflict.

Before the beginning of the meeting of the OSCE Troika in Berlin, the Minister stated that he welcomes the truce between the parties to the conflict, but the status quo cannot ensure security.

Steimer has received his colleagues - Serbian FM Ivica Dačić and Austrian FM Sebastian Kurz- in Berlin. The OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier also attends the meeting.

The German Foreign Office press-service earlier reported that the talks will focus on the efforts of the OSCE Chairman towards the normalization of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh and Ukraine.
