Sustainable economic growth impossible without security

“Without security, there can be no rapid and sustainable economic growth,” Georgian Interior Minister Giorgi Gakharia said during a meeting with businessmen. reports citing APA.

The minister stressed that key sectors of the economy depend on security.

"We live in a region that is facing serious threats. We are acutely aware that the economy's tourism, transit and energy sectors are directly linked with security,” he said.

Gakharia informed the businessmen about the reforms carried out in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
