Georgian president says he is ready to meet with Putin

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili stated on Wednesday that he is ready to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He said it at a meeting with Tbilisi students aired by local TV company Rustavi-2.

Axar.az informs citing TASS.

Margvelashvili noted that he is "ready for rational dialogue with the Russian president with regard to Georgia’s state interests."

"I have always said and now I repeat that I am ready for rational dialogue with the Russian president, and I think that it is possible to discuss solutions to vital problems accumulated in the relations between the two countries through this dialogue," the president said.
