Through the three group stage matches, Japan fans have stayed late to help stadium workers pick up trash in the stands. The tremendous show of respect continued even after Monday's Round of 16 loss to Belgium.

When Nacer Chadli finished off the Red Devils' epic comeback with a stoppage-time winner, Japan fans at Rostov Arena again grabbed trash bags and cleaned the stadium while fighting back the disappointment of the heartbreaking loss.

This was the scene in Rostov-on-Don.

So great.

The Japan fans' incredible display of sportsmanship went viral after the team's win over Colombia in June. A Colombia supporter congratulated the fans while filming them as they cleaned the stadium.

A difficult loss wouldn't crush that spirit. They'll leave Russia with plenty of respect from the soccer world.
