Preparations for Azerbaijan-Latvia business forum to be held in autumn this year are underway.

According to the information, the Azerbaijani ambassador to Latvia Javanshir Akhundov said at the meeting with Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics.

During the meeting, the current state of relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia, development prospects were discussed. At the same time, the sides exchanged views on cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral level and within international organizations between the two countries.

Foreign Minister and Ambassador stressed the importance of mutual visits for development of bilateral cooperation.

At the meeting, preparation works for the visit of Speaker of Saeima of Latvia, Ināra Mūrniece and Riga Mayor, Nils Ušakovs to Azerbaijan were discussed
