9 die as migrant boat sinks off Turkey’s Aegean coast

Nine people died as a boat carrying irregular migrants sank off Turkey’s Aegean coast of Aydın province. reports citing Hurriyet Daily News.

The boat carrying 13 migrants capsized off Kusadası district on Aug. 9.

Kusadası district governor Muammer Aksoy said seven children and two women were identified as casualties with no one missing.

Four others have been rescued, the sources said.
