The Turkish Foreign Ministry has appointed a new Ambassador to Russia. reports citing Anadolu Agency.

Thus, Hussein Dirioz, who has served as Turkey's Ambassador to Russia since 2016, will be replaced by head of the consular service of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Mehmet Samsar.

Earlier, Samsar also worked as the Ambassador of Turkey to Ukraine.
