Turkish cargo vessel reported water ingress

A Turkish cargo vessel NILA, flying under the Togo flag and carrying stone coal, has reported water ingress in outer Kerch Strait, Azov Sea.

Axar.az reports citing Azertag that one of the seven crew members of the ship is reported to be an Azerbaijani citizen. The whole crew was evacuated, and water ingress is now under control.

Laden with 3,000 tons of coal, the ship was on route from Azov, Russia, to Giresun, Turkey.
