Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will visit Ankara Nov. 9, Nov. 8.

Axar.az reports that during the visit, he will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to discuss international and regional issues, as well as strengthening bilateral relations.

Qatar ranks 19th among countries that made direct investments in the Turkish economy.

Foreign investments in the Turkish economy amount to $4.108 billion. Qatar’s investments in the Turkish economy reach $541 million.

About 68 percent of foreign direct investments in the Turkish economy account for European countries. Spain ranks first among European countries that made direct investments in the Turkish economy.
