"Malta supports a peaceful solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict," Foreign Minister of Malta George William Vella said, addressing the press conference following the talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart in Baku on April 29.

The conflict should be settled through negotiations, the FM noted.

Malta’s foreign minister called on the conflict parties to refrain from using weapons, stressing the need to encourage confidence-building measures between the parties.
