Azerbaijan condemns deadly Orlando shooting

Azerbaijan condemns the heinous shooting perpetrated in Orlando, the US on June 12, 2016 which resulted in numerous human causalities and injuries, Hikmat Hajiyev, spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, told on June 13.


“We extend our heartfelt condolences to the people of the United States and the families of those who lost their lives and wishes for a speedy recovery to the wounded,” the spokesman said.


The shooting in a night club in Orlando left 50 people dead and at least 53 injured. The “Islamic State” terrorist organizations claimed the responsibility of the shooting.
