“Russia has offered to deploy its airbase in our territory. The presence of a Russian military base in Belarus would not solve the problem of developing our combat aircraft. So we had to rely on our own capabilities, ”he said.

Two SU-30 SM fighters from Russia landed at the Baranovich airport in Belarus yesterday. Belarusian Defense Minister Andrei Ravkov said several more fighters would be brought in the coming weeks.
