Assad's troops vowed to eliminate the presence of the Turkish army in the Idlib enclave.

Axar.az reports that Russian military expert Igor Pankratenko made this statement while commenting on the attack on Turkish soldiers in Idlib.

According to him, the Syrian army is hitting the positions of the Turkish troops in order to be able to actively fulfill this desire:

"Official Ankara is already fighting against Assad's forces and acting on the principle of 'an eye for an eye.' Which means Turkey has been in a defensive position so far. But tomorrow the term of Ankara's Damascus ultimatum will expire: according to the Astana and Sochi agreements, Turkey will have to clear its territories under control."

According to the expert, Turkey's attack on the Syrian side will be officially announced.

“Since the beginning of this month, the Turkish army has lost 43 soldiers in the Idlib enclave. If it's not the Turkey-Syria war, then I don't know what the war is."
