Blast occurs near Russian embassy in Damascus - Breaking

An explosion was reported near the Russian embassy in Adawi district in Syria's capital Damascus on Thursday, local media reported. There is currently no information whether there were any casualties as a result.

Axar.az reports citing foreign media.

Several media outlets suggest that it is possible the explosion was caused by a bomb planted in a car.

The blast marks the second attack of such kind in the city in less than a week.
