Thursday, February 21, in the blast in the province of Deir ez-Zor in Eastern Syria has killed 20 people, including employees of the oil industry.

According to the Syrian observers, a car filled with explosives blew up near the oil field al-Omar, which is controlled by the Syrian democratic forces.

As a result, the explosion killed at least 20 people, including were killed and six insurgents.

Syrian democratic forces captured the oil field al-Omar in the province of Deir ez-Zor in 2017 with the support of the United States. Previously, the field was controlled by the terrorist group Islamic state.
