Heavy rains in Madagascar have left 31 dead, nine missing.

Axar.az informs that, more than 100,000 people have been affected by the disaster.

Residents of areas affected by the disaster are evacuated. The rains on the island continued for several days.

As a result, thousands of homes and buildings were destroyed or flooded. Many of the schools are closed and more than seven thousand people are left homeless.
