Economic problems in Azerbaijan have affected the media. President Ilham Aliyev pays great attention to this matter.

Presidential Aide on Social and Political Issues Ali Hasanov said at the ceremony of awarding the winners of journalistic articles held by the Fund of the State Support for Media Development under the President of Azerbaijan, which was held on the occasion of Novruz holiday.

He noted that Azerbaijani President has always supported the media: "I think it will continue. Everyone is waiting for solving of problems by the state. Government solves the problems, is able to solve them. President Ilham Aliyev has repeatedly raised this issue."
