“We have done a great work to stimulate agriculture. Last year alone 5,800 units of agricultural machinery were purchased. 9,000 and 8,000 units of agricultural machinery were purchased in the previous years," President Ilham Aliyev said at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

"We have greatly updated our machinery park. We buy machinery and equipment for grain-growing, cotton-growing and other areas from leading companies. We will therefore continue our work in this field.”

The head of state said villagers are exempt from all taxes, except land tax.
