New Polish ambassador appointed to Azerbaijan

On July 9, Polish President Andrzej Duda approved the candidacy of a new ambassador to Azerbaijan.

Axar.az informs citing Foreign Ministry that, Rafal Poborski has been appointed the new Polish ambassador to Azerbaijan.

He will replace Marek Tsalkan in this post.

Rafal Poborski was born in 1976 in Warsaw, graduated from the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the University of Warsaw. R. Poborsky speaks Russian, English and Spanish. In 2006-2016, he worked in the Eastern Policy Department of the Polish Foreign Ministry.
