Azerbaijani MFA extends condolences to Japan

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has extended condolences to the families of the victims, and the Japanese people killed as a result of arson attack on Kyoto Animation Studio.

Axar.az reports citing MFA.

“We’re deeply saddened by news on arson attack on Kyoto Animation Studio, killing at least 33 people and injuring many. We present our heartfelt condolences to families of the victims, and the Japanese people and wishes for speedy recovery to those injured in this harrowing incident”.

Note that a suspected arson attack on an animation production company in Kyoto left at least 33 people dead and dozens injured Thursday. The death toll is the highest for an arson incident since 1989, when the previous Heisei Era (1989-2019) started, according to police.
